As a rule, swiss health insurances only cover the costs of treatments that are medically necessary. Dental treatments most of the times are not covered by swiss health insurances. Therefore most smile makeover aesthetic dental treatments are not covered.

Smile makeover procedure

In our dental practice in Zurich, we work with modern intraoral scanners, such as the CEREC Primescan and also 3 Shape Scanner. This digital impression technology offers a number of advantages for our patients and has therefore been successful on the market for over 20 years. Thanks to the innovative technology behind the CEREC, we can take a short optical impression of the actual situation without compromising patient comfort. After evaluating the results, we use a modern milling unit in our dental practice to produce the aesthetic dental restoration, for example a precisely fitting ceramic crowns, an inlay or a Bridge, depending on the requirements.
