We remove deposits, germs, calculus and plaque that cannot be removed with a toothbrush alone. Regular dental hygiene, which should generally be carried out at least once a year, not only ensures improved health, but also gives you a permanently bright smile with improved breath. Taking care of the molars in particular is often difficult as they are harder to reach due to their shape and position. Even with an electric toothbrush and the use of dental floss, only around 60 percent of the tooth surfaces can be adequately cleaned.

No, we clean your tooth surfaces and interdental spaces exclusively with gentle, special dental instruments that do not cause any pain.
On request, we also offer treatment under nitrous oxide for our anxious patients. If Tooth restoration is necessary, it is also possible to carry out the dental hygiene treatment under general anesthesia.

First, our expert staff will examine your current dental and oral hygiene situation and document this in a dental status report. You can take a copy of this home with you after treatment if you wish. Based on the oral examination, we begin with professional teeth cleaning, for which we use state-of-the-art dental instruments at our dental practice in Zurich, such as an ultrasonic tartar removal device or a powder blasting device with an antibacterial effect. We then polish and fluoridate your teeth. This creates a protective film that protects your teeth from new bacteria deposits. After the treatment, we will inform you about relevant dental care measures and recommend efficient products if necessary.
