Thanks to modern CEREC Primescan technology, we have the opportunity to make our treatments even more precise and efficient at our dental practice in Zurich. Many treatments require an impression to be taken beforehand so that the dentist and dental technician can get an idea of the patient's dental situation. However, most patients find conventional impressions with an impression material very uncomfortable because the material has to remain in the mouth for many minutes. In many cases, this leads to a gag reflex and/or strong pressure on the gums/teeth/jaw. To avoid this, we use state-of-the-art CEREC technology in our practice in Zurich to take comfortable and accurate impressions of the teeth and jaw with a little intraoral camera within seconds.

But it is not only patient comfort that is significantly improved thanks to this technology. The duration and number of sessions can also be reduced. Our CEREC Primescan is directly networked with the computers in our practice and with a modern grinding and milling unit. This allows us to view the images together with our patients immediately after the digital impression and evaluate the actual condition. The images are then transferred to our ceramic milling unit, which can immediately produce the appropriate ceramic dental restauration. This reduces the number of sessions to just one, after which you can leave our practice with your freshly restored and immediately strong ceramic Tooth.

Our patients benefit financially from CEREC technology because they no longer have to visit an external dental laboratory, which also eliminates these extra costs. We can also simulate a digital before-and-after comparison so that our patients receive an accurate and transparent picture of our performance. You can take a look at the expected result in advance.
